THE PROCESS
(3-STEPS) TO A BETTER HAT
Step 1: Measure
Every custom hat starts with getting the fit right. We use a traditional conformator to capture the exact shape of your head, not just the size. That measurement becomes the foundation for everything that follows, so your hat sits the way it should from the first wear.
Step 2: Design
Once we’ve got your shape, we’ll talk through the details. Crown style, brim width, ribbon, edge finish. Whether you know exactly what you want or need a little guidance, we’ll build something that fits your style and the way you wear a hat.
Step 3: Craft
From there, each hat is carefully shaped by hand using a blend of beaver felt, pure beaver, or, by request, mink or chinchilla. Every piece is individually blocked, formed, and finished with meticulous attention to detail—no shortcuts, no rushing—resulting in a hat you’ll be proud to wear.
