So you’re interested in purchasing a custom hat, but you’re unsure or maybe even downright nervous about how purchasing a custom item online will work? Not to worry! We have it all figured out! Here is a step-by-step explanation of how you will get the hat exactly the way you want it.

Step 1: Determine the type of hat you want. Whether western, buckaroo, mountain man or fedora we feel certain we can meet your needs.

Step 2: Once an order is placed, a conformateur is mailed to you with detailed instructions on how to get the correct size and shape of a person's head. This is a crucial step in the process to get that customized fit we are looking for.

Step 3: When the conformateur is returned to us the color and quality of hat can be chosen. We offer three choices in quality: 10X is pure European Wild Hare; 50X is 50% European Wild Hare and 50% pure Beaver; our best felt is 100X which is pure Beaver the finest quality that is available for any hat.  We have a wide variety of colors available. Step 4: When the color and quality are chosen we can look at more details of your hat such as the brim width, hat band choices and the exact look you want your hat to give you.

Step 5: If the hat body is not already in stock it will be ordered promptly. Normal turn around time for most hats is 4-6 weeks. Once the body is blocked, sanded, plated and the finishing touches are applied a picture will be sent for your approval prior to shipping. If there are any changes or tweaks we will work with you to get it just right so your hat is exactly what you want.
