We begin our tour of the legends and favorite sons of the great state of Wyoming with the legendary trailblazer and scout, Jim Bridger. He was part of the 2nd generation of American mountain men and pathfinders that followed the Lewis and Clark expedition of 1804. This hat typifies those worn by mountain men of that era.
